KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the final edition of the 2022-23 NAIA Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll. Carroll College remains in the No. 11 spot with 422 points.

The Fighting Saints (23-5, 14-1) did not move in the latest NAIA Coaches' Top-25 Poll. A logjam of teams in the Top-10 with no real opportunities to be upended have stymied the Saints yet again.

For the first time this season, No. 3 Thomas More, a Carroll opponent from early in the year, is not at the top of the poll.

Carroll remains the highest-ranked Frontier Conference school appearing on the poll, with No. 15 Montana Western being the lone other representative. Rocky Mountain College has dropped from the rankings after sitting at No. 22 for several weeks.

The Saints and the Bulldogs enter the Frontier Conference tournament this weekend as the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds, both receiving a bye in the opening round.

Poll Methodology

  • The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, Independents and Unaffiliated Groups.
  • The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second place and so on through the list.
  • The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered low ratings) is removed and the team's ranking will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the team appears on.
  • Teams that receive only one point in the ballot are not considered "receiving votes."
