MINOT, N.D. - The Carroll College Softball team is back in North Dakota for the second Bubble Invite, hosted by NCAA Division II Minot State this weekend.

The Fighting Saints (2-2), after a free weekend, are back under the bubble for their second weekend of action on the season.

Carroll will play three games against NCAA Division II competition in Minot this weekend, including a pair of games this afternoon.

At 2 p.m. (MST) the Saints will square off with a Big Sky State opponent, MSU Billings. Immediately following that game, they will take on Bemidji State at approximately 4 p.m. Carroll will play host-school Minot State at noon tomorrow, before hitting the road back to Helena.

This weekend's slate of games are the last bit of non-conference action for the Saints, with the Cascade Collegiate Conference regular season set to begin later this week.

Kaitlynn Ayers (Twin Falls, Idaho / JR) is leading the Saints in hitting early this season. The Junior has a .600 batting average and is slugging 1.100, including two doubles, a home run, and five RBI on the season.
