HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Men's Basketball team plays host to Rocky Mountain College this evening at the Carroll College PE Center in Helena, with both teams fighting for seeding in the upcoming Frontier Conference tournament.

The Fighting Saints (11-13, 5-8) will look for a bounce-back win and a season sweep of the Battlin' Bears (13-12, 5-8) on Saturday in Helena.

Carroll has won both of the previous meetings between the two teams this season, a lopsided 78-52 win in Billings, and an 80-74 win in Helena last month. 

The Saints have won the last four meetings between the two, and 11 of the last 12 total meetings dating back to 2019. Rocky's lone win in that time span was a five point victory in Helena last January.

Both teams find themselves looking up in the Frontier standings, tied with Montana Western for fourth place. Carroll already owns the tiebreaker over both schools, but a win this evening would solidify their positioning heading into the final game of the season, and then the Frontier Conference tournament later this month.

A pair of Carroll guards, Jonny Hillman (Post Falls, Idaho / SR) and Andrew Cook (Huntington Beach, Calif. / SO) combined for 49 points in the last meeting between the two schools in Helena, and will look to repeat that performance today.

Today's game is part of a celebration of 50 years of Title IX, all female students K-12 are invited to come to both the Men's and Women's games free of charge.

In addition, today is the final Fighting Saints Food Pantry food drive game of the season, and fans planning on attending are encouraged to donate any non-perishable food item to help the Student-Athlete Advisory Council stock the shelves.
