HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Women's Basketball team will play their second, and final, exhibition game of the season on Tuesday morning, playing NCAA Division I Utah at 11 a.m. in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The No. 5-ranked Fighting Saints (6-2) enter the Tuesday morning tilt on a five-game win streak, but will have a huge test against the NCAA's No. 12-ranked Utes (5-1).

Carroll enters the game after a highly-successful weekend, going 2-0 at their Thanksgiving Classic, avenging a pair of losses in the 2022-23 season, with wins over No. 10 LC State and (RV) Southern Oregon.

Jamie Pickens (Helena, Mont. / GR) was named Frontier Conference WBB Player of the week for the second time on the year. Pickens was dominant over the weekend, scoring a career-high 31 points against LC State, and following things up with a 14 point, 14 rebound double-double against SOU. Pickens will be heavily relied upon in the matchup with the high-powered Utes.

Willa Alrbrecht (Billings, Mont. / R-JR) had a break-out 22 point performance against Southern Oregon. Carroll will hope for a repeat performance from the big guard, helping balance out the offense as a perimeter threat.

Few teams in the NAIA have the size to matchup with Carroll's front court of Pickens and Maddie Geritz (Boise, Idaho / GR), but the Utes will be a whole different test. Utah's roster features six players listed a six-foot, two-inches or above, including six-foot, eight-inch Nene Snow.

Tip-off from Salt Lake City is scheduled for 11 a.m., and the game can be viewed live online HERE.
