KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the second regular season edition of the NAIA Women's and Men's Cross Country Top 25. Carroll College appears on both the Men's and Women's polls.
The Fighting Saints Cross Country teams are off to a great start in the 2023 season. Both the Men and Women have placed first, or top Frontier school, at each of the events they have run on the year.
For the second-consecutive regular season national poll, both the Carroll Men and Women have moved up the rankings.
The Carroll Men jumped up three spots over the prior edition of the poll, sitting at No. 16 in the nation.
The No. 16 ranking for the Carroll Men is the highest the Saints have risen under Head Coach Shannon Flynn. Previously, their high-ranking was No.17 (October 2020).
The Carroll Women moved up four positions, now ranked No. 14 in the NAIA.
The No. 13 ranking for the Carroll Women is the highest ranking achieved since the 2020 season as well. In October of 2020 the Carroll Women appeared inside of the top-10 (No. 9).
