HELENA, Mont. - The Frontier Conference has announced the results of its Men's Basketball preseason coaches' poll and preseason all-conference team. Andrew Cook of Carroll has been named to the preseason all-conference team, and the Carroll Men were picked to finish No. 5 in the coaches' poll.

Andrew Cook (Huntington Beach, Calif. / JR), a First Team All-Frontier selection in 2022 was the lone Carroll representative selected to the preseason All-Conference team.

Cook, a six-foot, four-inch guard has shown time-and-again that he is one of the league's best, wreaking havoc on opposing teams for two seasons.

In 2022-23, Cook averaged a team-high 18.6 points per game, in addition to 3.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists per contest. Cook started 25 games for the Saints as a sophomore, after playing a sixth-man role as a true freshman in 2021-22.

Now a veteran, Cook has high aspirations, both individually and for his team a whole entering the 2023-24 season.

Cook, and the rest of his teammates will have a new head man running the show in 2023-24, with Ryan Lundgren having been hired as head coach in late June.

The Saints slate in at No. 5 in the preseason poll, due in large part to a large amount of new faces, and relative unknowns heading into the 2023-24v season. First year coach Lundren has six new players joining a Carroll team that finished 13-14 in 2022-23.

The season is rapidly approaching, with Carroll just over two weeks away from their opener in Arizona, as they take on Ottawa (Ariz.) in a neutral site affair at Arizona Christian.
