OMAHA, Neb. - The Carroll College Women's Soccer team played College of Saint Mary to a 2-2 tie Monday morning in Omaha.

The Saints played a rare early morning game to cap off their Midwest road trip, playing College of Saint Mary to a 2-2 tie before loading up on a plane and headed home on Monday.

College of Saint Mary got the jump on the Saints, when in the tenth minute Aubrey Vancura scored a rebound goal off of a free kick that bounced in favor of the Flames.

Carroll would quickly respond. Just three minutes later, Jaymee Sheridan (Helena, Mont. / SO) would race past the Flames defense and sneak a ball past the keeper to tie the game up 1-1.

In the 59th minute, College of Saint Mary would once again take the lead on another Aubrey Vancura goal. Vancura's second of the game put the Flames back on top 2-2.

Carroll eventually got an equalizer in the 74th minute from the foot of Amaya Winkler (Billings, Mont. / SR). Winkler's Goal knotted the game at 2-2, where it would remain for the final.

The Saints will return to Helena for an extended practice period, getting ready for their Cascade Collegiate Conference opener at Corban on September 16.
