OLYMPIA, Wash. - The Carroll College Women's Soccer team earned another shutout victory, beating Evergreen State 2-0 on Friday in Olympia Washington.

The Saints are on a heater to start Cascade Collegiate Conference play, and rolled to another 2-0 win over the Geoducks Friday afternoon.

Carroll put a barrage of shots on goal on Friday, with 19 of their 22 total shots being on goal.

The Saints opened the scoring in the 17th minute when Melissa Dugger (Billings, Mont. / SR) scored on a penalty kick goal to put Carroll in the lead, 1-0.

In the 27th minute, Carroll would strike again. Amaya Winkler (Billings, Mont. / SR) scored her fourth goal of the year off an assist from Blair Stapleton (Billings, Mont. / SR) to put the Saints ahead 2-1, where it would stay for the remainder of the game.

Carroll Keeper Sarah Conway (Belt, Mont. / SR) picked up another shutout, finishing her day with seven saves.

The Saints will now square off with Northwest (7-0-2, 3-0-1) tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in Kirkland, Wash.
