OLYMPIA, Wash. - The Carroll College Men's Soccer team earned a Cascade Collegiate Conference victory, beating Evergreen State 2-1 on Friday in Olympia, Wash.
The Saints (3-4-1, 2-3) got back on track, and more importantly, back in the win column with a 2-1 win over the Geoducks (3-6-0, 2-4-0)Â on Friday night in Washington.
On a night that saw the Saints put up less than ten shots, they made the most of their opportunities.
Rory Bloy (Johannesburg, South Africa / SR) opened the scoring in the 34th minute, as he was able to beat the Geoduck keeper and score his fifth goal of the season to put Carroll on top 1-0 headed into halftime.

Ryan Quinn (Helena, Mont. / JR) tacked on another unassisted goal to put the Saints up 2-0.
The Geoducks would get their lone goal of the match in the 63rd minute, when Lucas Alcala scored on a penalty kick to bring the Geoducks within one, 2-1.

Ryan Croft was given a red card in the 66th minute, and
Mathias Gravesen (Copenhagen, Denmark / FR) stepped in. Gravesen did not allow another goal, and the Saints would prevail 2-1.
Carroll will have a quick turnaround, as they play Northwest tomorrow afternoon at 4 p.m. in Kirkland, Wash. before heading back to Montana.
