ORANGE CITY, Iowa - The Carroll College Women's Soccer Team beat Northwestern College 4-1 at the Pizza Ranch Classic in Orange City, Iowa Saturday Night.
The Saints got back to their winning ways on Saturday, as they exploded for four goals in a win over the Raiders of Northwestern College.
Northwestern was in control of the match early, putting up shot after shot in the first 27 minutes. However, it was Carroll that would light the scoreboard first.

Blair Stapleton (Billings, Mont. / SR) was able to find the back of the net in the 34th minute, putting the Saints on top 1-0.
Stapleton was not finished.Â
In the 44th minute, Stapleton scored again to put the Saints up 2-0, her third two-goal performance in her last four games.
Early in the second half, Alexa Johnson would score for the Raiders, cutting into the Saints lead, 2-1.
Late in the match,
Melissa Dugger (BIllings, Mont. / SR) would provide an insurance goal, followed by an exclamation point. Dugger scored in the 80th minute to put the Saints up 3-1, and then scored again just six minutes later to give Carroll a 4-1 win.
Carroll will stay in the Midwest for just a bit longer, as they play College of Saint Mary at 9 a.m. on Monday morning.
