HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Soccer teams begin their Cascade Collegiate Conference regular season this weekend with a road trip to Oregon to play Corban and Bushnell on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
After a successful early season for both the Men and Women, both teams are ready to start their quest towards a CCC playoff berth. The Saints Women will look to return to the playoffs again and improve upon their No. 8 seed from the 2021 season, while the Men aim to break through this year after finishing just outside of the playoff field in 2021.
Both teams have spent the early portion of the season working on team chemistry and feeling out new teammates, and both feel confident in their squads heading into conference play.
The Carroll Women enter the weekend with. 3-1-2 record, and will be led by
Blair Stapleton (Billings, Mont. / SR), who has twice been named CCC Offensive Player of the Week already this year.
On the Men's side,
Rory Bloy (Johannesburg, South Africa / SR) will likely lead the way offensively for the Saints as he chases down the program's all-time goals scored record.
Carroll will face-off with Corban tonight, with the Women playing at 5:30 p.m. and the Men following at 8:00 p.m.
