KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Carroll's Garrett Kocab has been named the NAIA National Men's Field Athlete of the Week following his dominant performance at the Frontier Conference Championship last week in Great Falls.
 
Kocab, a senior from Phelan, Calif., adds this honor to his long list of accomplishments this week. He finished in first place in both the shot put and the discus at the conference championship, the Saints men's team brought home their second straight conference crown, he was the Men's Field Athlete of the Meet, and also the Frontier Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week. 
 
Kocab's mark of 52.42 meters in the discus is the new Carroll school record, and now he is the National Men's Field Athlete of the Week.
