HELENA, Mont. – The Carroll Softball team squares off with the University of British Columbia this weekend at Centennial Park in a Cascade Conference Softball series. Friday's games will be at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. and Saturday's games will be at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The Saints have spent a lot of time on the road these last few days. Last weekend, they went to Eugene, Ore., and earned a hard-fought Cascade Conference series win over Bushnell University. On Wednesday, they went up to Great Falls to play Providence in a double-header and came away with the sweep in what was a dominant offensive performance.
British Columbia is also playing some pretty good ball as of late. The Thunderbirds split a double header at Northwest University on Tuesday, and also got a big conference win over Oregon Tech last weekend. Overall, they are an even .500 at 12-12 on the season.
This is one of the last chances to catch the Saints on their home field this season. Carroll only has six more home games the rest of the year after this weekend.
