HELENA, Mont. – The Carroll Softball team returns home on Tuesday for a double-header against the University of Providence. The first game, which will be a conference game, is at 2 p.m. and the second, which is a non-conference contest, is at 4 p.m.
Tuesday's double-header will wrap up the season series between the Saints and Argos. They played a double-header in Great Falls on April 6, with Carroll sweeping both games 8-5 and 11-7.
This will also mark the first conference competition for the Saints since April 15, when they played at Southern Oregon. Last time Carroll took the field was last Tuesday when they came up just short, 9-7, in an exhibition game against the University of Montana Grizzlies.
Providence, who has struggled this season, is playing better as of late. They are winners of their last two games, taking their series last weekend at Warner Pacific.
Carroll has six games in total remaining on their schedule. They will host Eastern Oregon in a Cascade Conference series to wrap up the regular season schedule this weekend.
