ASHLAND, Ore. – The Carroll Softball team is hitting the road once again this weekend for a Cascade Conference softball series against ninth ranked Southern Oregon University. The Games will take place on Thursday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. MDT and Friday at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. MDT.
 
Last week, the Saints swept a double-header in Great Falls against Providence before winning one game out of four at home against University of British Columbia. They will look to get in the win column again this weekend, but it will not come easy against a tough SOU team.
 
The Raiders, currently ranked ninth in the nation, are winners of the last two NAIA national championships and are currently 34-10 on the season. Last weekend, they hosted and swept Warner Pacific, winning all four games via the mercy rule.
 
This weekend marks the final CCC road series for the Saints this season. They still have an exhibition scheduled at the University of Montana, a home double-header against Providence, and a home series against Eastern Oregon.
