BILLINGS, Mont. - The Carroll College Men's Basketball team dropped an exhibition contest to NCAA Division II opponent MSU Billings on Friday night, 67-51.
Carroll (2-0) played their second exhibition contest of the week, squaring off with MSU Billings and getting valuable court time for their young squad.
After a tightly-contested start to the first half, the Yellowjackets pulled away in the later stages of the period and took a 35-22 lead into halftime.
MSU Billings would outscore the Fighting Saints by three in the second half, 32-29, to win the game 67-51.
Andrew Cook (Huntington Beach, Calif. / SO) continued his stellar start to the season, leading the Saints with 16 points, two rebounds, two assists, and a steal.
Carrington Wiggins scored a game-high 19 points to lead MSU Billings.
Carroll will now head east for a Sunday afternoon contest with Dickinson State at 2 p.m. (MST).
