HELENA, Mont. - The No. 4 Carroll College Women's Basketball team will play their first home game of the 2022-23 season on Tuesday, as they host NCAA Division II opponent MSU Billings at the PE Center at 7 p.m.

The Saints (0-1) are back in Montana and ready for an in-state battle after a close loss to begin their season at Southern Oregon last Thursday. Carroll will kick-off their home slate of games tonight, hosting the Yellowjackets of MSU Billings.

Jamie Pickens (Helena, Mont. / SR) enters tonight's contest as the reigning Frontier Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week, and will look to build off of an impressive start to her 2022-23 season. Pickens came up one rebound shy of a double-double against SOU, grabbing nine rebounds alongside scoring 24 points.

The Saints will look to bounce back from a rusty first game out, and pick up their first win of the year over a familiar opponent. Carroll beat the Yellowjackets last season, 70-53, in Billings last November. MSU Billings has the advantage in the overall meetings during Rachelle Sayers' tenure, sneaking out two point victory in 2018, as well as a victory in 2014.

MSU Billings has played only one game entering this evening's contest, beating Rocky Mountain College 62-53 last week in Billings.

Tonight's game will be streamed live on the Fighting Saints Network, presented by Point S Tire & Auto and live stats for the game are available HERE.
