BILLINGS, Mont. - The Carroll College Golf teams are in Billings, Mont. on Monday and Tuesday for the Battlin' Bears Invite at Peter Yegen Golf Course.

The Saints, who have shown growth throughout the fall season, feel confident and prepared for what will be their final event of the 2022 Fall season. 

Carroll enters the event coming off of a strong showing at their last tournament. The Saints placed two individuals inside the top-ten on the Women's side, with Katie Fagg (Missoula, Mont. / SR) and Makayla Christiansen (Oakdale, Calif. / JR) finishing tied for fourth and eighth, respectively. The pair have been stellar this season, and will look to finish out the Fall with another steady performance.

On the Men's side, Leo Werschay (St. Augusta, Minn. / FR) has been solid in his first collegiate season. Werschay paced the Saints at the Carroll College Invitational, finishing in a tie for seventh place. The Saints are young on the men's side, with three Freshman in their starting five, but have shown reason for optimism heading into the later stages of the 2022-23 season.

The Women will play 18 holes today and 18 tomorrow, with the Men playing 36 today, and the final 18 tomorrow morning.
