COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. - The Carroll College Men's soccer team exploded in the first half for a 5-0 win over Walla Walla University on Sunday afternoon.
The Carroll Men entered today's contest looking for another win as they continue to work towards a spot in the Cascade Collegiate Conference postseason tournament, and would not leave Washington disappointed.
The Saints scored five goals in the first half of play en route to their ninth consecutive win over the Wolves.
Jack Bentson (Bozeman, Mont. / SR) opened the scoring early for the Saints when he beat the Wolves' keeper to put Carroll on top 1-0 in the ninth minute.
Just five minutes later,
Caleb Hoxie (Helena, Mont. / JR) would score off the assist from Freshman
Joseph Satterthwaite (Las Vegas, Nev.) to double the Carroll lead, 2-0.

Robin Erickson (Polson, Mont. / SR) scored his second goal of the year in the 33rd minute, with an assist from
Walker Jump (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho / FR) to extend the lead to 4-0. Just two minutes after that, Jump would get a goal of his own, his first collegiate goal, to close out a terrific scoring day for the Saints.
