GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The Carroll Men's Basketball team got back in the win column on Thursday with an 83-75 road victory over Providence in Great Falls.
The Saints found their footing early on in the game and started having a ton of success getting the ball to the hoop. Carroll led the Argos 46-35 at the end of the first half.
Over the course of the second half, Providence would not go away. They made multiple good runs at the Saints, cutting the deficit to as few as five points. Carroll, however, did not waiver.
The Saints knocked down their shots down the stretch and sealed an 83-75 victory.
Jovan Sljivancanin scored 23 points on 9 of 16 shooting and added six rebounds to help propel the Saints to victory.
Shamrock Campbell scored 17 points and
Ifeanyi Okeke added 13 points, as the other Carroll players in double figures.
Brendan Howard was the leading scorer for the Argos with an impressive 25 points in his second game with the team. Marcus Stephens added 23 points.
Carroll will look to build off of this victory on Saturday evening as they head up to Havre to take on MSU-Northern.
