HELENA, Mont. – Following his verbal commitment at the end of August, Brayden Koch put pen to paper on Tuesday afternoon to officially join the Carroll Men's Basketball program this fall.

"After touring the campus and being around the environment of Carroll, I just felt like it was the place for me," Koch said. "And after talking to (Coach) Almquist and with him having knowledge about Carroll, listening to what he told me I took it to heart and it made my decision a lot easier. Being a hometown kid and getting to play in front of the Bruin community, and most importantly my family, means a lot to me."

Koch is coming off of a prolific junior campaign in which he was the third leading scorer in all of class AA, scoring at a clip of 18.8 points per game.

He can also get the job done on the defensive side of the ball, as he averaged 2.47 steals per game last season.

Now in his senior year, he is picking up where he left off as one of the state's leading scorers. Just last Saturday, Koch tipped in a buzzer beater to lift the Bruins over Big Sky.

"This is a big day for our program to sign who we think is the best player in the state, and not to mention a local player, in Brayden Koch." Carroll Men's Basketball head coach Kurt Paulson said. "The Helena community will be in for a treat for years to come. I truly believe that Carroll is a great fit for Brayden and I know that he will immediately help our team win next season. Go Saints."
