SPOKANE, Wash. - The Carroll College women's soccer team suffered a tough 1-0 loss to University of Puget Sound on Sunday afternoon.

The loss marks two straight for the Saints to open the season.

The Puget Sound Loggers have extended their season record to 2-0 with the win.

Carroll played the aggressor for much of the match today with ten shots (three of which were on target) to Puget Sound's six shots (four on target). Kody Clements had three of the shots for the Saints. Sarah Conway added 3 saves in goal for the Saints.

Carroll travels back to Montana to play a non-conference match with Providence in Great Falls tomorrow afternoon at 1:30. This will be the Argos' first regular season contest as the Saints try to get back on track and get their first win of the season.
