HELENA, Mont. – The Carroll College volleyball team will play their long-awaited home opener on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. versus Montana Tech in the PE Center.

After a long pre-season stretch of out-of-town tournaments, the Saints opened up their Frontier Conference schedule last Friday with a road game at Montana Western. They were able to sweep the Bulldogs to kick off conference play with a 1-0 record, and advance their overall record to 8-9.

Montana Tech, on the other hand, entered the season with lofty expectations after they were picked to finish second in the Frontier pre-season poll. They are 12-4 so far on the season and 0-1 in conference play after losing to Providence in four sets on Friday.

Carroll and Montana Tech have played each other once already this season in non-conference play. The Orediggers got the best of the Saints, sweeping them in three sets, at the Frontier Conference Tune-Up.

Tonight's game will be streamed on the Fighting Saints Network, sponsored by Point S Tire and Auto Service.

In accordance with updated covid protocols, Carroll College asks that all spectators wear masks when attending indoor sporting events as they are now required indoors on campus.
