PORTLAND, Ore. – The Carroll men's soccer team got back in the win column on Friday afternoon with a 2-0 win over the Multnomah Lions in Portland.
Santiago Morazzani got the scoring started in the 32
nd minute.
Ben Dagg dropped a dime off of a free kick before Santi tucked it away to put the Saints in the driver's seat.
Despite many opportunities from Carroll, they were unable to find the back net again until the 78
th minute.
Ben Dagg continued his productive day at the office by punching one into the top left corner to give his team a 2-0 lead.
The goal from Dagg capped off the scoring for the Saints as he finished the game with one goal and one assist to help secure a Carroll victory.
Carroll played the role of the aggressor in this one taking 19 total shots (six on target) to Multnomah's four.
Kaden Connor posted a clean sheet with some help from the Saints' back line. Multnomah finished the game with zero shots on target.
The Saints will return to the pitch against Warner Pacific tomorrow evening at 5:30 p.m. MST. The Knights are off to a strong start this season with a 5-1 overall record and 2-0 CCC record.
