CORVALLIS, Ore. -- The Cascade Collegiate Conference announced this year's All-Conference and Gold Glove honorees, as voted on by the CCC softball head coaches, on Thursday.
Carroll was represented by two players on this year's all-conference teams.
Jessica Nimmo appeared on the All-CCC second team and
Kaitlynn Ayers received honorable mention honors.
Jessica Nimmo, a junior infielder from Las Vegas, Nev., was a mainstay in the Saints' lineup throughout her junior campaign. Starting in all 46 games, Nimmo led the team with a .382 batting average and an on-base percentage of .448. She also totaled 12 extra-base hits and 27 RBIs on the year.
Kaitlynn Ayers, a freshman infielder from Twin Falls, Idaho, made a big splash in her first year as a Saint. Starting in 37 games, Ayers was Carroll's team leader in home-runs with 9 and finished second on the team in RBIs with 33. She batted .308 on the year with 15 extra-base hits.
