GULF SHORES, Ala. -- Day two at the NAIA Outdoor National Track and Field Championships are in the books. 
 
Today's performances were highlighted by Lee Walburn taking home the national title in the Decathlon, totalling 7095 points, nearly 600 points more than his mark to qualify for the national meet. 
 
The Women's 4x800m Relay was a tight, competitive event, and the Carroll women combined for a final time of 9:19.99, which was good enough for 6th overall and a spot on the podium. The relay team was comprised of Elly Machado, Reghan Worley, Kate Picanco, and Natalie Yocum, who will all receive All-American status for their performance. 
 
In the Men's High Jump, Josh Malone placed 14th overall jumping a height of 2.00 meters (6 ft.- 6 ¾ in.).
 
As for the throws, Nikki Krueger placed 15th in the Women's Shot Put with a toss of 13.09 meters (42 ft.-11 ½ in.).
 
Garrett Kocab meanwhile placed 10th in the Men's Discuss Throw with a throw of 47.43 meters (155 ft. - 7 in.). 
 
On the final day of the Championships, Shamrock Campbell will go for the Saints in the Men's Triple Jump at 12:30 p.m. MST and Madde Boles will round things out for the Saints in the Women's High Jump at 1:00 p.m. MST.
