BUTTE, Mont. -- The Carroll Volleyball team lost to Montana Tech in Butte on Thursday night in four sets.
The Saints and the Orediggers split the first two sets, both of which ended in scores of 25-16.
With the match even at 1-1, Montana Tech got all the momentum on their side. The Orediggers won the third set 25-15 and went on to dominate the fourth set 25-10 to secure their second straight win over the Saints.
Lexie Gleasman, a redshirt-freshman from Chelan, Wash., had 10 kills to lead the Saints attack.
Maureen Jessop, a sophomore from Corvallis, Mont., had a game-high 15 kills to help Montana Tech earn a second victory in as many nights.
Carroll will finish the regular season with a record of 10-8, which earns them the three seed for the Frontier playoffs. The Saints will host Montana State-Northern at 7 p.m. on Tuesday night at the PE Center for the opening round of the Frontier Conference Playoffs.
