HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll College Softball team will host No. 1 Southern Oregon this weekend in a Cascade Conference series at Centennial Park. Due to weather, Friday's games have been moved back to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. first pitch times. Saturday's games are still scheduled for 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Entering this weekend, the Fighting Saints are 12-26 on the season over all and 7-14Â in conference play. Last weekend, the Saints went on the road and got a win over No. 5 Oregon Tech. Now they return home this weekend, with hopes to pull off another upset.Â
Carroll just has two weekends left on their CCC schedule, one of them being this weekend, as well as a CCC series at Providence next weekend.Â
The Saints are currently tied for sixth place in the Cascade Conference with Eastern Oregon, as they look to gain ground in these last wo weeks.
Southern Oregon, winners of the 2019 NAIA National Championship, are 38-2 this season with their only losses coming at the hands of William Jessup (Calif.) and OIT.Â

Saturday will also be senior day for the Saints. Seniors
Brooke Brewer and
Katie Huisman will be honored by their teammates and coaches for their great careers as Saints.Â
