SALEM, Ore. -- This weekend the Carroll College Softball team will travel to Salem, Ore., to begin their conference season at No. 23 Corban. Game one will be at 2 p.m. MST Friday afternoon with game two following the conclusion of game one. Saturday, the Saints will face Corban in another double header starting at 2 p.m. MST with game two again following the conclusion of game one. 

The Saints are coming off a tough pair of double headers against MSU Billings earlier this week, taking one of the four games in Billings. The Saint's record currently sits at 2-6 while No. 23 Corban is 5-6 and will also be opening up their conference schedule with this weekend's games. 

Swinging the hot bat for the Saints as of late is Jessica Nimmo, a junior from Las Vegas, Nev., who is batting .391 with an on base percentage of .500. Nimmo has also added two home runs and batted in eight runs over the course of the first eight games this year.
