GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The Carroll Women's Soccer team captured their second straight win on Sunday afternoon over Providence, 1-0.

Sunday's game was very tightly contested through all 90 minutes. Both teams were unable to score in the first half, but the Saints were able to find the back of the net very late in the contest. 

McKenna Payne, a junior from Winchester, Calif., stepped up to take a free kick, and knocked it in for the game winning goal in the 79th minute.

In a game that ended up being low scoring, there were still plenty of shot attempts to go around for each team. The Argos finished the game with 11 shots, three of which were on goal. Carroll ended up taking 18 shots, with 6 of them being on goal.
