CALDWELL, Idaho -- The Carroll College Softball team is back on the road for the second straight weekend, as they will be taking on College of Idaho in double-headers on Friday and Saturday in Caldwell. Friday's games will be played at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. MST and Saturday's games will be played at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. MST.
Â
This weekend's games at College of Idaho will kick off a stretch for the Saints in which they will play 12 games in one week.
Â
The Saints and the Yotes faced off earlier this season in two non-conference games, so they are familiar with each other. They split the two games with the Yotes winning one 9-0, and the Saints winning the other 10-8.Â
Â
Jessica Nimmo, a junior infielder from Las Vegas, Nev., has continued to provide the Saints with some serious muscle at the plate. Nimmo has started all 19 games thus far, and is batting .429 on the year with 19 RBIs.
Â
The Saints are currently 6-13 on the year and 3-5 in Cascade Conference play. The Yotes enter the series with a record of 19-7, including a 13-game winning streak. In the latest NAIA top 25 poll, the Yotes were in the receiving votes category.Â
