BILLINGS, Mont. -- The Carroll Men's Soccer team lost a tightly contested match against Rocky Sunday Afternoon in Billings, 1-0.
The Saints fell behind early on, thanks to a goal by Rocky's Ethan Boone.
From there, Carroll was not able to capitalize on their opportunities to equalize and erase their deficit.
Carroll was able to amass 8 shots (4 on target) to Rocky's 10 shots (3 on target), giving themselves the opportunity to be competitive and potentially steal at least a tie.
The Saints came up short however and notched their first loss of the season at 4-1. Rocky meanwhile will remain at the top of the heap in the east division at 5-0.
Carroll will look to bounce back tomorrow at 2 p.m. against the Bears and hopefully come out of the series with a split. The game will be streamed at https://www.meridix.com/live.php?liveid=BattlinBears.
