KIRKLAND, Wash. -- This weekend, Carroll College Softball will travel to Kirkland, Wash. to play Northwest in a pair of double headers. The first two games will be at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, followed by games at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon (all times mountain time zone). The first three games this weekend will be counted in frontier conference play.

Leading the Saints' potent offense is Jessica Nimmo, a junior infielder from Las Vegas, Nev. She has hit for an average of .391 in her 15 games played and registered a slugging percentage of .563.

The Saints enter the upcoming games at 4-11 overall and 1-5 in conference play. The Saints, last weekend, split games with Eastern Oregon in a four game series at Centennial Park, helping them capture some momentum going into the matchups with Northwest. Northwest enters at 0-6 in conference and winless in their 12 games on the season. The Saints are looking forward to another opportunity to move up in the standings.
