HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll College Volleyball team defeated Montana Western for the second straight night on Tuesday at the PE Center.
The two matches were originally scheduled to take place on Friday and Saturday night but were pushed back due to Covid protocols.
On Monday night, the Saints won a thriller over the Bulldogs in five sets after trailing 2-0 to start the match. The Saints came back on Tuesday night hungry and looking for more.
Carroll picked up right where they left off to start off the match, taking the first two sets 25-21 and 25-20.
in the third set, Western got on the board winning the set by a score of 25-18.
After a tough third set, Carroll was able to close out the victory in four, by a score of 25-19.
Taelyr Krantz, a junior from Helena, totaled 17 kills Tuesday night to lead the way for the Saints.
For Western, it was a busy night on the back line for Tannah Sellers, a senior from Eden, Idaho. Sellers tallied 31 digs.
Carroll is now 9-5 on the season, and the Bulldogs have fallen to 3-11.
The Saints will hit the road this weekend for games at Montana State-Northern on Friday and Saturday.
