HAVRE, Mont. -- Carroll Volleyball swept the Montana State-Northern Skylights on Friday night to win their third straight match. With this win, the Saints are now 10-5 on the year while Northern is now 1-14.
The game got off to an interesting start, as 25 points wasn't enough to decide the first set. The Saints held on 28-26 to start off the match in the driver's seat.
Then in the second set, it was all Saints as they win it 25-14.Â
In the third and final set, the game stayed close as Carroll had to go beyond 25 once again to pull it out. They closed the match by winning the third set 26-24.
For MSU-Northern, they were led on the attack by Elissa Lind, who finished with 10 kills. Lind is a senior from Hardin, Mont.
Julia Carr, a freshman from Portland, Ore., put together an outstanding performance on the back line fore the Saints on Friday night with 24 digs.
Carroll Volleyball will be back at it again on Saturday at 6 p.m. as they take on Northern once more at The Armory.Â
