HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll College Women's Basketball Team defeated MSU-Northern on Sunday by a final score of 83-46 to finish off the weekend sweep.
The Saints took a 44-20 lead into the half before totally running away with the game in the second half. Carroll outscored Northern 28-4 in the third quarter, propelling them to a 37 point victory.
The star of the show in this one for Carroll was the junior guard from Nine Mile Falls, Wash., Sienna Swannack. Swannack finished the game with 20 points on 8-11 shooting including four three pointers. Jamie Pickens, the sophomore forward from Helena, also had her second straight double-double, with 12 points and 10 boards.Â
With this victory, the Saints now have a record of 17-2 on the season, and they are 11-1 in conference play. They will be back at the PE Center next weekend as they host Providence on Saturday and Sunday.
