HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll Volleyball team got back into the win column on Friday night, defeating Montana Tech in four sets.
The Saints got off to a hot start in the first set. They won the first by a score of 25-22.
Tech evened the score in the second set, taking it 25-22.
With the match even at 1-1, the third set is when the Saints caught fire. Carroll put their foot on the gas and won the third set 25-14.
Leading the match 2-1, the Saints had a chance to put the game away in the fourth. Tech was leading 13-11, but Carroll got back to their A game after a timeout and won the set 25-21 to clinch the victory.
Taelyr Krantz, a junior from Helena, led the way for Carroll with 20 kills and an attacking percentage of .463.
Karina Mickelson, a senior from Laguna Niguel, Calif., had 15 kills, leading the way for the Orediggers.
