Billings, MONT. -- The Carroll Volleyball team lost to Rocky Mountain College Saturday afternoon at the Fortin Education Center, three sets to one.
Much like Friday's game, the first set was neck and neck. Rocky took the first set by a score of 26-24.
In the second set, things stayed close. However, the Saints were able to even up the score taking the set 25-23.Â
With things evened up at 1-1, Rocky got on a roll in the third set and carried that momentum to win the match 3-1.Â
Julia Carr, a freshman from Portland, Ore., had a great game on the back line. She finished with 25 digs.Â
For Rocky, it was another big game for Ayla Embry, a sophomore from Bozeman, Mont. The reigning Frontier Conference Defender of the Week had 32 digs.
The Saints are now 5-3 on the season. With the win, Rocky has advanced to 7-1.Â
