HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll College Women's Basketball Team clinched the regular season Frontier Conference Championship last Sunday.

This marks the fourth consecutive year where the Saints have won either the regular season Frontier Conference title or the Frontier Conference tournament.

"All the credit goes to the players," said Head Coach Rachelle Sayers. "It was a tough year and they stayed committed to the process. They just kept coming to work every day and wanted to get better."

Carroll will hold the number one seed going into the Frontier Conference Tournament and get a first-round bye. They will play their first tournament game against the lowest remaining seed at the PE Center on Saturday, February 27^th at 5 p.m.

The Saints still have one weekend of conference play left on the schedule, as they will head to Dillon this weekend for back-to-back games with Montana-Western.

"We're really looking forward to this weekend. We've only had two games in the last three weeks and it will be huge to get out and play against somebody else." Coach Sayers added, "We expect two competitive games, the last two Western games here came down to the wire."

The Saints and Bulldogs will go toe to toe on Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. at Straugh Gymnasium.
