HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll Volleyball team defeated the Montana State-Northern Skylights 3 sets to 1 on Friday night at the PE Center.
The first set started out close, but the Saints pulled away winning the set 25-18.
In set number two, the Skylights jumped out to a 9-6 lead, forcing Carroll to take a timeout. Following the timeout, Carroll took back the momentum and pulled ahead taking the set by a final score of 25-20.
The third set ended up being the opposite of the second, this time with Carroll jumping out to a 10-8 lead. Then it was the Skylights who found their form. Northern won the third set by a score of 25-22 and had a chance to close the gap and force a fifth set.
In the fourth set, it was back and forth for each team. The Saints ended up pulling away at the tail end winning set four 25-21 and clinching the victory.
