Carroll Football returns home to face SOU

HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll College Football team will return home on Saturday afternoon to face off with the Raiders of Southern Oregon at 1 p.m.

The Saints are searching for their first win against Southern Oregon since 2015, when they opened the year with a home win over a Raider team who was No. 1 in the country at the time.

Following last weekends loss win at EOU, the Fighting Saints are currently 4-4 on the season with just two games left to play. They are currently tied with Montana Tech (also 4-4) for fourth place in the conference.

Southern Oregon is 3-5 so far this season. They were on the losing end of a low-scoring slugfest in Ashland last weekend, falling to College of Idaho by a final score of 17-15.

The last time these two teams met was earlier this season on September 25 in Ashland. The Saints held a three-score lead in the fourth quarter, but the Raiders rallied behind four fourth quarter touchdowns to win the game 34-33.
