KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The Carroll Men's Soccer team dropped the first game of their road trip on Friday after noon, falling 3-0 to Oregon Tech.
The Owls got the scoring started right out of the gate. Brock Rideout found the back of the net 32 seconds into the game on a corner kick assist from Anthony Santillan.
The first minute goal from OIT would end up being the only scoring in the first half, as they took a 1-0 lead into the break.
In the 51
st minute, the Owls struck again on an unassisted goal by Jake Mitchell to go up 1-0.
In the 74
th minute, OIT added one more goal to cement a 3-0 lead. This time it was Keanu Srivongsana with Andrew Pasang on the assist.
Oregon Tech stitched together a very strong defensive effort against the Saints. Carroll finished the game with four total shots and only one on target.
The Saints return to the pitch tomorrow in Ashland, Ore., as they take on Southern Oregon at 2 p.m. MST.
