HELENA, Mont. – The Carroll Volleyball team swept the Skylights of MSU-Northern on Friday night at the PE Center to earn their second straight win.
In front of a rocking crowd at the PE Center, the Saints came out of the gate swinging. They won the first set 25-18.
In the second set, Carroll kept their momentum going and toppled the Skylights once again 25-23.
With their backs against the wall, Northern gave the Saints a run for their money in the third set. In the end, the Saints pulled away to secure the set 25-19 and earn the sweep.
Taelyr Krantz was the leading attacker for the Saints with 13 kills.
Kylie Kackman had 17 assists and
Hannah Schweikert added 16 assists.
Julia Carr was all over the court defensively, tallying 28 digs.
Elizabeth Heuiser was dominant at the net with five blocks.
Shania Neubauer had an impressive 19 digs for Northern. Emily Feller totaled 33 assists in the game as well.
The Saints, now 10-10 on the year and 3-1 in Frontier Conference play. They will return to the hardwood of the PE Center on Tuesday night to face off with Providence at 7 p.m.
