Men's Cross Country | 10/21/21 | 9:20 PM
Helena, Mont. – Carroll Cross Country travels to Rocklin, Cali. this weekend for the Warrior Invite at William Jessup University on Saturday October 23.
The race will take place at 245' of elevation on a wide, hard packed pathway. The combination of conditions is expected to result in fast times despite rainy weather in the forecast. Multiple Top 25 NAIA teams are projected to attend the meet including Oregon Tech, College of Idaho, Southern Oregon, and The Master's.
Madison Harmer,
Katelyn McKay,
Andria Mourich,
Reghan Worley, and
Natalie Yocum will compete for the Saints women. The team comes off of a successful 6
th Place finish last weekend at the Inland Empire Championships, and four of the five women competing have surpassed or equaled their personal records during the past two races. "We have great depth on our women's team," said Head Coach
Shannon Flynn. "Every individual has had strong performances this season, so we're focusing on running hard for each other and putting five of those performances together on the same day."
Jonah Fisher,
Aidan Jarvis,
Zach Rector,
Mark Richter, and
Spencer Swaim will race for the Saints men. "We didn't accomplish the team goals we were hoping for last week with the men," shared Coach Flynn. "The guys are hungry to bounce back, so we've really emphasized recovery and staying confident this week. It's just a great opportunity for us to be patient, persistent, and process oriented."
The women's 5k will start at 8:45 am Pacific Time (9:45 am Mountain Time), and the men's 8k will start at 9:30 am Pacific Time (10:30 Mountain Time). The race will be streamed at
