HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll College Fighting Saints softball team hosts Warner Pacific on Friday and Saturday.

The Saints (5-4, 1-2 Cascade Collegiate Conference) will play a softball game in February for the first time in program history. The Saints will look to claim their first conference series win of the season when they face the Knights (10-3, 2-1).

Carroll traveled to No. 21 College of Idaho last weekend and opened the series up with a win, but eventually fell 1-2.

The Saints are led by Jessica Nimmo's .391 hitting average, Natalie Gaber's six RBI and Brooke Yarnall's five stolen bases.

Abby Hanley leads the Saints on the mound with a 3.11 ERA.

Warner Pacific opened up CCC play with a 3-1 series win over Northwest, including a 2-1 in the conference games.

The games will be played at 1 and 3 p.m. on Thursday at Centennial Park. The games will be streamed and available at the Carroll Athletics YouTube page.
