Dane Warp and
Jovan Sljivancanin combined for 30 points, but the No. 9 Carroll College Fighting Saints fell to Montana State-Northern 58-48 on Wednesday in Havre.
The Saints (14-5, 5-2 Frontier Conference) endured a tough shooting night in the loss, hitting just 35 percent of their field goals for the game.
Mascio McCadney led the Lights (12-7, 2-5) with 19 points.
Carroll went cold late in the game, holding a slim lead with a few minutes left in the game only to watch Northern pull away.
Warp shot 6-for-13 from the field for his 19 game-high 19 points, while Sljivancanin added 11 and eight rebounds.
Ifeanyi Okeke had a career-high 10 rebounds to go along with 4 points.
The Lights shot 46 percent from the field and 43 percent from deep. MSU-N also went to the free-throw line and knocked down 10-of-11 attempts while the Saints were 3-for-4.
The Saints next travel to Great Falls to face Providence on Saturday.
