HELENA, Mont. -- Another week, another Top 25 matchup for the No. 25-ranked Carroll College Fighting Saints women's basketball team.

Carroll (11-5, 3-1 Frontier Conference) travels to No. 20 Rocky Mountain College (12-3, 3-1) to face the Battlin' Bears on Wednesday in the Fortin Education Center at 5:30 p.m.

The game will pit two of the conference co-leaders against each other, as both the Saints and Battlin' Bears sport 3-1 marks in the FC so far.

The Saints will have their hands full in the paint as RMC forward Markaela Francis is No. 2 in the Frontier in scoring at 16.5 points per game. Three other Battlin' Bears score over 10 points per game: Destinee Pointer (11.1) Kloie Thatcher (10.5) and Mackenzie Dethman (10.1).

The Saints will combat Rocky with Dani Wagner's 14.2 points per game and Christine Denny's 10.3 points per game. The scoring duo were pivotal to the Saints' big victories over No. 11 Montana State-Northern and Providence last week.

Carroll went 3-1 against the Battlin' Bears a season ago, last playing RMC in the Frontier Conference tournament semifinals, a game the Saints won 61-50.

Carroll enters the game on a four-game winning streak.

The Saints also own the No. 4 total rebound defense (29.3 per game) in the NAIA.

For those who cannot be in attendance, a live stream will be offered via the Rocky. Fans can also hear the game on Rewind 94.9, called by Carroll College Saints play-by-by talent Daniel Salle and Hall of Fame coach Gary Turcott. The game can also be tracked via DakStats. See the links below.
