HELENA, Mont. -- The Fighting Saints tried to rally with a late goal by
Nick Lowrimore, but the Southern Oregon Raiders held on for a 2-1 on Friday in Ashland, Oregon.
Lowrimore's 74th-minute penalty kick lightened the lead to 2-1 for the Raiders, but the Saints couldn't find the touch to tie the game.
The Raiders (3-4, 1-1 CCC) put two goals away in the first half to build their 2-0 margin. Adrian Villegas scored in the 40th minute and then Zak Woolley scored in the 44th.
The Raiders outshot the Saints 18-6.

Kaden Connor recorded seven saves on the day.
It was the Saints' (3-3-1, 2-1 CCC) first conference loss this season.
