HELENA, Mont. -- A pair of Top 10 individual finishes led the Fighting Saints golf teams to close out the Argos Invitational in Great Falls, Montana.
Junior
Samuel Berry led the Saints with a ninth-place finish after he shot a 69 on the final day, to close out with a three-round total of 222.Â
The Carroll men placed fourth overall.Â
Joseph Potkonjak finished 12th overall with a three-round total of 227. The senior closed the tournament out with a score ofÂ
Freshman
Connor Mora finished 20th overall with a score of 232.
Sophomore
Josh Neth finished 30th overall with a 241.Â
"Every single one of our guys had their lowest round of the tournament on the final 18 holes," Saints coach
Bennett MacIntyre said. "That is finishing strong."Â
As a team, the Saints shot 293 on the final day.Â

The tournament was played at Eagle Falls Golf Course.Â
On the women's side, the Saints were led by junior
Weslee Nehl, who finished in a tie for 10th with a two-round score of 167.Â
Senior
Cailin Spencer finished in a for 22nd, posting a two-round score of 178.Â
Sophomore
Caroline Hobson (26th, 188) was the only other Saint to post a score after one withdrawal.Â
"
Weslee Nehl tied for 10th and had a very solid tournament finishing with an 82," Bennett said. "Our women were a bit short-handed today with an injury forcing a player out of action, but they competed hard knowing the four remaining scores were all going to count."Â
The Fighting Saints will look to make up some ground in the Frontier Conference when they host conference tournament no 2 at Green Meadow Country Club on Sept . 23-24.Â
