HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll College Saints track and field team's lone meet, the Trudnowski Open, takes place Thursday and Friday at Vigilante Stadium. The meet will also serve as Senior Day for Carroll's departing upperclassmen.
"This will be a great opportunity for our fans to see how far these seniors have come," Saints coach
Harry Clark said. "We expect to keep pushing for national qualifiers and show this team's growth over the season."
Carroll currently owns seven national qualifiers. With decent weather forecasted for Thursday and Friday, the Saints expect to keep making marks and adding new qualifiers.
The Saints will welcome Montana Western, Providence and Rocky Mountain College to bolster competition on Thursday and Friday.
The meet begins on Thursday with the decathlon and heptathlon. The decathlon begins at 10 a.m. Thursday, followed by the heptathlon at 10:15 a.m.
Senior recognition will precede the meet on Friday at 12:30 p.m. Friday's meet is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start time and the events will be conducted on a rolling schedule.
